Anime makeoverPreview update · Not published

Ember Clash gets a full anime makeover

Every special move now triggers an anime cut-in: a slanted panel slides across the screen with a close-up of the fighter and the move name, and transformations get a bigger cut-in with radial speed lines. Hits explode into manga impact bursts with sound words like BAM!, DOKA! and DOGOOON!!, and blocks show GAKIN!. Fighters shout their special moves in speech bubbles and have their own battle cries on some basic attacks (Jotaro's ORA ORA!, Giorno's MUDA!, Deku's SMASH! and more). Every screen now has a manga look: comic lettering, screentone dots, speed lines, inked panel shadows and Japanese kickers, and the K.O. screen bursts with speed lines under a tilted K.O.! with 決着. Damage, cooldowns, controls and online play rules are unchanged; the effects are visual only.

Bayonetta reworkPreview update · Not published

Bayonetta transforms into Madama Butterfly and gets Bullet Climax

With a full Transform bar, Bayonetta now becomes Madama Butterfly: the butterfly demon from her supplied sheet takes over her stance, walk, punches and dash, inside a purple aura, and kicks and Wicked Weave still punch out of portals. Her third special is now Bullet Climax, a gun move that fires a volley of pistol rounds across the arena with muzzle flashes (same input and 19 damage as before). The Transform Battery support item now works for her too. Limits: the butterfly sheet has no jump or hurt poses, so it reuses its standing frames for those.

Bayonetta joins the shopPreview update · Not published

Bayonetta, The Umbra Witch, is in the Character shop

Bayonetta can be bought for 40 earned coins and uses her supplied sprite sheet, cleaned of its white background, for her animated portrait and every fight pose. Punches and kicks fire her pistols, and kicks also open a Wicked Weave portal with a giant fist. Special 1, Wicked Weave, throws a portal fist across the arena; Special 2, Witch Time, turns her into a violet afterimage as she dashes; Special 3, Madama Butterfly, summons the butterfly demon behind her for a rising punch. Blocking shows her purple Witch Time aura. She has a story chapter (Witch of the eclipse) and a rooftop date scene. Limits: the sheet has no walk, jump, crouch or hurt poses, so she uses her standing sway for those, and she has no transformation.

Sprite fixesPreview update · Not published

Rebuilt sprite sheets for Kai Ember, Nova, Brakk and Dr. Goliath

All four fighters were re-cut from their original supplied sheets. Dr. Goliath no longer splits apart, mixes half-cut frames or grows huge in his victory pose; his dash, jump and Toxin Jet now show the full poses. Kai's, Nova's and Brakk's jumps use real airborne frames instead of standing or crouching ones, and stray pixel scraps, merged double frames and row titles are gone. Every animation is lined up on the fighter's feet so idles, blocks and attacks no longer wobble side to side. Moves, damage and controls are unchanged.

New Joker artPreview update · Not published

Joker gets his new, sharper sprite sheet

Joker now uses the newly supplied, more detailed sprite sheet (credits: TheHunterDrake) for his animated portrait and every fight pose: a 9-step walk, knife lunges and slashes for punches and kicks, his pistol for Eiha, a coat-trailing Phantom Dash, and the red scythe slash for Arsene Rising, with Arsene himself rising behind him from the same sheet. Eiha now flies as the sheet's red curse arc. Because the new art is much larger, it is shrunk down so Joker stands at the same height as the other fighters. His price, moves, damage and cooldowns are unchanged. The sheet has only one standing pose, so his idle stance does not animate.

Joker joins the shopPreview update · Not published

Joker, The Phantom Thief, is in the Character shop

Joker can be bought for 40 earned coins and uses his supplied sprite sheet, cleaned of its pink background, for his animated portrait and every fight pose. Special 1 is Eiha, which throws the sheet's own dark curse slash; 2 is Phantom Dash; and 3 is Arsene Rising, where his Persona Arsene appears for a crimson rising kick. All three use the existing hit and cooldown rules. He has no transformation, and he gets his own Story chapter (a heist against Lord Malice) and a café date scene. The sheet is small, so his pixels look chunkier than other fighters when enlarged.

Loading screen, phone app, shop and Legends RoadPreview update · Publication requested

A 30-second fighter parade, a home-screen app and two reworked pages

Opening the game now shows a 30-second loading screen that spotlights every fighter one by one, with all 30 portraits lighting up as the bar fills and gameplay tips underneath. It plays once each time the game is opened (not on every page), there is a Skip button, and the opening and Story trailers now wait until it finishes. Ember Clash can be added to a phone's home screen with its own fist-crest icon and opens full-screen like an app; it is not on the App Store, because the game uses characters we do not have permission to publish there. Legends Road was redesigned as a winding road of seven stops with a progress meter and a how-it-works strip; the Character shop now has a large featured-fighter stage with speed and power bars, a fighter list to pick from and new Support shop cards. Prices, coins per win, unlock costs and rewards are unchanged.

DLC completePreview update · Not published

Jotaro and Sanji finish the DLC

Jotaro, The Star Platinum Brawler, and Sanji, The Black-Leg Chef, are playable with their supplied sprite sheets, shared across their animated portraits and combat. Jotaro's specials are Star Finger Strike (Star Platinum's flying fist from his sheet), ORA ORA Rush and Star Platinum Smash, with Star Platinum appearing beside him from the sheet's own Stand frames; he has no transformation. Sanji's specials are Black Leg Cyclone (the sheet's spinning tornado), Diable Jambe Flambage and Sky Walk Concasse, and his Diable Jambe transformation sets his existing art aglow with fire. Both use the existing controls, hit and cooldown rules. Each joins Story mode with a new chapter and date scene, and Goku's Ultra Instinct finale stays last. All seven DLC fighters are now playable, so the DLC page lists them instead of coming-soon cards, and the secret DLC teaser video has been removed. Sanji's sheet has no running cycle, so his closest moving poses are reused.

Gojo revealedPreview update · Not published

Gojo steps out of the DLC vault

Gojo, The Limitless Sorcerer, is playable with his supplied sprite sheet, shared across his animated portrait and combat. Special 1 is Reversal: Red, 2 is Lapse: Blue and 3 is Hollow Purple, each using the sheet's own Red, Blue and Hollow Purple art with the existing hit and cooldown rules. Pressing 1, 2, 1, 2 quickly opens Domain Expansion: Infinite Void once per round — the arena fills with the sheet's Infinite Void background for 10 seconds and Gojo's hits deal 25% more damage. He has no transformation. His "Infinite Void" story chapter and rooftop café date scene keep Goku's Ultra Instinct finale last. The DLC page now lists five revealed fighters, with Sanji and Jotaro still coming soon.

Rukia revealedPreview update · Not published

Rukia freezes her way out of the DLC vault

Rukia, The Frost Reaper, is playable with her newest supplied sprite sheet (which replaced the first, much smaller sheet), shared across her animated portrait and combat. Her specials are Twin Lotus Pale Fire Crash (a kido blast using the sheet's own blue blast art), Third Dance: White Sword and First Dance: White Moon, using the existing controls and hit rules. She has no transformation. Her frozen-rift story chapter and snowy date scene keep Goku's Ultra Instinct finale last. The DLC page now lists four revealed fighters — Gohan, Sakura, Bakugo and Rukia — with Sanji, Jotaro and Gojo still coming soon, and the secret teaser is remade with all four reveals and a rapped "secret code" lyric track.

Bakugo art updatePreview update · Not published

Bakugo's new normal sprite sheet

Bakugo's normal form now uses the newly supplied sheet for his portrait, idle, run, jump, crouch, block, hurt and K.O. poses, his punches and kicks, Bomb Dash for Blast Rush, palm blasts for AP Shot, the spinning Howitzer Impact and a raised-fist victory. The orange background was removed. His Explosion Overdrive transformation, move damage and controls are unchanged.

Bakugo revealedPreview update · Not published

Bakugo blasts out of the DLC vault

Bakugo, The Explosion King, is playable with both supplied sprite sheets: his base sheet for portrait and combat, and his second sheet as the Explosion Overdrive transformation. His specials are AP Shot, Blast Rush and Howitzer Impact using the existing combat controls and hit rules. His void-barricade story chapter and ramen date scene join the campaign before Goku's Ultra Instinct finale. Sanji, Rukia, Jotaro and Gojo remain coming soon. The in-game DLC teaser still shows the Gohan and Sakura reveal; a Bakugo version was not re-rendered.

Sakura revealedPreview update · Not published

Sakura steps out of the DLC vault

Sakura is playable with her supplied pink-haired sprite sheet, shared across her animated portrait and combat. Her specials are Cherry Blossom Impact, Leaf Breaker Rush and Blossom Rising Kick; the existing combat controls and hit rules remain unchanged. No transformation is added without supplied transformation artwork. Her recovery-ward story chapter and cherry-blossom date scene join the campaign, with Goku's Ultra Instinct victory preserved. The 39.4-second DLC reveal teaser now reveals Sakura beside Gohan using supplied sprites and the existing music, while Bakugo, Sanji, Rukia, Jotaro and Gojo remain unfinished and coming soon without sprite sheets. Closest supplied poses are reused where complete animation cycles are absent. Trailer music was extended and checked for clipping; the music edit was not reviewed by listening.

Bug fixPreview update · Not published

Gohan's missing pixels restored in base and Beast forms

Fixed a sprite bug where Gohan's dark outfit was being erased when his sheets were cleaned, leaving holes in his body in both base and Beast forms. Both sprite sets were rebuilt with smarter background removal that keeps every body pixel, and Beast's dash no longer shows broken red streak frames — it uses his real speed-line dash poses. His jump, crouch and victory poses were also corrected to proper frames from the supplied sheet. Move names, damage and controls are unchanged.

Gohan revealedPreview update · Not published

Gohan joins the fight with his Beast transformation

The first DLC fighter is out of the vault: Gohan is now playable in character select, built from his supplied sprite sheet with idle, run, jump, crouch, block, punch, kick, rush, uppercut, hurt, K.O. and victory poses. His specials are Masenko (golden beam projectile), Demon Rush (blue-energy dash) and Explosive Rising Kick. Fill the Transform meter to become Beast — white-haired, with his own full set of supplied poses and a purple energy blast. The DLC page now lists six remaining coming-soon fighters, and the secret teaser was updated so Gohan's card breaks its redaction while the other six stay classified.

Secret DLC teaserPreview update · Publication requested

A classified teaser leaks onto the DLC page

The Coming-Soon DLC page now has a "Play the secret teaser" button that opens a 30-second unfinished teaser trailer. It shows the seven coming fighters only as redacted codename cards with empty sprite-sheet placeholders — no final art, no sprites — ending on "The DLC roster is still in production." The teaser plays with sound and can be skipped; the fighter cards and coming-soon status are unchanged.

Kai Ember transformation · Luffy date fixPreview update · Publication requested

Finish story mode to unlock Kai's Ember Inferno

Kai Ember now has a transformation: Ember Inferno, a blazing aura form that uses his existing supplied sprite art with a fire aura effect. It stays locked until you finish all 42 story battles — the roster and character select show "Finish story mode to unlock" until then, and the Transform button and Transform Battery support only appear for Kai once the story is complete. Luffy's date scene choice is now his own ("Share your meat with me!") instead of matching Goku's adventure toast. All other fighters, forms and combat rules are unchanged.

Story date scenesPreview update · Publication requested

Romance comes to Story Mode

Every one of the 23 story fighters now has a date scene. Clear both battles of a fighter's chapter to unlock their date, then open it from the new "Dates unlocked" row on the chapter screen. Each date has its own location backdrop, character-voiced dialogue and a choice moment with two answers and unique replies. Date unlocks save in this browser only; battles, progress, rewards and the finale are unchanged.

Story cutscenesPreview update · Publication requested

Story mode gets cinematic cutscenes

Every chapter now opens with a letterboxed cutscene: the chapter title over its stage, the hero and the lesser villain sliding in, and captions that play automatically. Boss fights get their own entrance cutscene, and beating a boss plays a retreat cutscene before the result. Tap to advance or press Skip. Fights, progress and the Ultra Instinct finale are unchanged.

Yuji secret form · Uryu restoredPreview update · Publication requested

Yuji takes the secret transformation

Removed Uryu's cancelled transformation, restoring his original base-only bow artwork and attacks. Yuji now uses the latest supplied pale-haired, light-top sheet as his Secret Cursed Form. Fill his energy and press Transform once; Revert or empty energy restores his unchanged base art. Clean, native-resolution stance, running, jumps, punches and kicks use isolated, body/feet-anchored cells. Existing Divergent Fist, Black Flash and rising attacks reuse the nearest supplied fighting poses without new damage or cooldowns. Legends Road ownership, other fighters and existing trailers remain unchanged.

Uryu secret formPreview update · Not published

Uryu's secret Quincy form

Cancelled by the November 5, 00:43 UTC update at the player's request. This earlier preview added a supplied bow-and-energy transformation; Uryu is now restored to his original base-only artwork and attacks.

Sasuke artwork replacementPreview update · Not published

Sasuke's new secret sheet

Replaced Sasuke's previous secret-form artwork with the latest supplied green-background sheet. Cleaned native-resolution winged stance, movement and attack poses use transparent gutters and stable body/feet anchors. The second Transform click still activates Cursed Seal Level 2 after Susanoo. Closest supplied winged poses are reused for guard, reaction and moves without dedicated cycles. Base artwork, Susanoo, separate Fireball Jutsu projectiles, damage, cooldowns, energy and Legends Road access remain unchanged. Existing trailers are unchanged.

Sasuke secret formPreview update · Not published

Sasuke's winged secret

Sasuke keeps his base art and first Susanoo transformation. A second Transform click reveals the supplied winged Cursed Seal Level 2 sprites; the next click or empty energy restores base. Native-resolution crops isolate the complete winged poses from pink borders and neighboring cells. Missing dedicated movement, guard and reaction cycles reuse the closest supplied winged poses. Fireball Jutsu retains its separate projectile artwork; the secret Chidori uses supplied attack poses rather than the base form's lightning layer. Base Chidori and Susanoo remain unchanged. Legends Road access, damage, cooldowns and energy rules are preserved; online stage validation accepts the secret form. Existing trailers are unchanged.

Zoro secret formPreview update · Not published

Zoro unleashes Asura

Zoro now transforms directly into the supplied multi-arm, multi-sword Asura artwork when his Transform bar is full. He previously had no transformation, so this form uses the first Transform click; Revert or empty energy restores his unchanged Jump Superstars base artwork. Clean, native-resolution cells keep body and feet stable for supplied stance, sword strikes and rushing poses. Missing dedicated guard, hurt, jump and kick cycles reuse the closest complete Asura poses. Dragon Twister retains its separate existing tornado artwork. Legends Road ownership, damage, ranges, cooldowns and other fighters' transformation sequences remain unchanged. Existing trailers are unchanged.

Luffy secret formPreview update · Not published

Luffy's secret stretch

Luffy keeps his original base and first Haki form. A second Transform click switches to the supplied straw-hat secret sheet, with clean stance, running, stretched punches, Gatling and giant-fist attack poses anchored to his body and feet. The next click or empty energy restores base. This is the supplied black-haired artwork, not a white-haired replacement. Missing jump, guard, hurt and kick cycles reuse the closest complete supplied poses; cropped-off artwork is not used. Existing move damage, range, cooldowns, energy and unlock rules are unchanged. Online stage validation accepts the secret form; existing trailers remain unchanged.

Ichigo secret formPreview update · Not published

Ichigo's second-click secret

Ichigo keeps his original base and first Hollow Form. A second Transform click reveals the supplied long-haired secret artwork, with isolated native-resolution stance, movement, guard and sword attack poses plus a separate red-and-black Getsuga projectile. The next click or empty energy restores base. Where the sheet has no dedicated movement or reaction cycle, the closest supplied body poses are reused; existing attacks are not replaced with new move stats. Damage, cooldowns, energy and other fighters remain unchanged. Shared online snapshot validation accepts his secret stage; existing trailers are unchanged.

Vegeta secret formPreview update · Not published

Vegeta's red-haired secret

Vegeta keeps Ultra Ego as his first transformation. A second Transform click reveals the supplied red-haired Super Saiyan God sheet, with clean, foot-anchored movement and attack frames. The next click or empty energy returns to base. The closest supplied poses are reused where dedicated cycles are unavailable; projectile artwork remains separate. His Legends Road unlock, base art, damage, cooldowns and energy rules are unchanged. Shared online snapshot validation accepts his secret stage. Existing Goku and Naruto transformations and trailers remain unchanged.

Goku secret formPreview update · Publication requested

A second click. Super Saiyan God.

Goku's first Transform remains Ultra Instinct. Press Transform again to reveal the supplied red-haired Super Saiyan God artwork with clean, native-resolution movement, punches, kicks and special attack poses; the next click or empty energy returns to base. Frames share stable feet and transparent gutters rather than displaying neighboring sheet artwork. Some movements reuse the nearest supplied poses, and the existing Kamehameha projectile stays separate. Combat damage, energy, cooldowns and unlock rules remain unchanged. Online snapshots accept Goku's secret stage. The Story Mode finale still locks Goku in Ultra Instinct, and existing trailers are unchanged.

Story trailer remixPreview update · Publication requested

The story begins with a remix

The 71-second story trailer now opens on the first Story Mode visit, once per browser after it is skipped or completed. Watch with sound starts the remixed Emberclash song; the normal soundtrack pauses during playback without changing music preferences. The film covers the chapters, villain-return lore and Goku's Ultra Instinct victory using standing sprites and animated finale effects, not gameplay footage. Chapter text is brief. The remix rearranges the original full recording with new drums, chops and echoes; it is quieter than the original trailer and audio quality was checked by measurement rather than listening. The original opening and logo character trailers, saved story progress and rewards are unchanged.

Story refreshPreview update · Not published

Different worlds. Individual voices.

A replayable prologue and Rift codex explain Goliath's replacement machine bodies, Bastion's recall-gate retreats and Malice's crown echoes. All 20 chapters now have named locations, distinct atmosphere, named lesser guards, character-specific exchanges, victory responses and retry lines. Boss aftermaths explicitly show retreat or disconnection; Ben shuts down Goliath's central core, Vegeta destroys the final recall relay and Goku defeats the real Malice in Ultra Instinct. Chapter illustrations and battles use assigned existing maps, with a different guard and boss backdrop in each chapter; these are cosmetic settings, not new maps or different combat objectives. Story progress, ownership, rewards and other fight modes remain unchanged. Dialogue is text, not recorded speech.

Story mode and DLCPreview update

The Shattered Ember

All 23 current built-in fighters take part in an original crossover story, across 20 chapters and 40 playable CPU battles. Each chapter has a weaker original pixel-art guard followed by a roster boss, with readable character dialogue rather than recorded voices. Goku enters Ultra Instinct for the last boss battle; winning unlocks an animated Kamehameha victory ending. Losses can be retried and cleared progress saves on this browser. Story-only access to reward, shop and secret fighters does not grant ownership; story fights do not award coins or secret-unlock kills or enter competitive history. Combat attacks and normal modes retain their rules; Ultra Instinct stays active only in the story finale. Seven DLC teasers show Gohan, Sakura, Bakugo, Sanji, Rukia, Jotaro and Gojo with nicknames and Coming soon labels. They are not playable or purchasable, and no date is promised.

Support shopPreview update

Healing, longer forms and more power

Three reusable supports cost 20 earned coins each: Healing Kit restores 50 health up to 200, Transform Battery activates an available form for 90 seconds, and Power Boost adds 25% damage for 30 seconds. Each can be used once per round in every fight mode. Training remains safe, fighters without forms cannot use the battery, and same-device players share purchased ownership but have separate round uses. Online hosts resolve uses and timers for each assigned player. Inventory remains browser-local, like coins; it is not server-verified competitive ownership. Manual reversion ends the battery effect. Existing fighters, prices and unlocks are unchanged.

Character showcasePreview update

The logo opens the fighter showcase

Click the Ember Clash logo on character select to watch a separate 7-minute character trailer. All 23 fighters show base-form basic hit sequences and three specials in actual Training footage, with their existing biographies as readable text rather than narration. A separate section shows attacks in all ten available transformed forms, including both Naruto forms; Giorno stays base-only. The Emberclash song loops with crossfades and limited volume. Fighters are relatively small within the full arena, biography reading time is brief, and sampled checks do not guarantee every special connects. The first-arrival opening trailer, unlocks, purchases and combat rules are unchanged. Both films share sound controls and pause the normal soundtrack while playing.

Opening trailerPreview update

The whole arena, one anthem

A 91-second animated opening trailer gives all 23 built-in fighters their own section and showcases the game’s modes, maps, transformations, rewards, shop, creator and community features, accompanied by the Emberclash hip-hop song. First-time visitors see it once per browser; Skip trailer and Enter the game work at any time, and Watch trailer replays it. Browsers start video muted until Watch with sound is clicked. The normal soundtrack pauses during the trailer and resumes only if it was already enabled. Unlocks, purchases and combat rules are unchanged; the trailer does not grant locked fighters. The creator section uses an animated graphic; captured pages show a fresh save, including empty history and zero coins. Trailer audio is the song only, without extra combat effects.

Miku joins the shopPreview update

A musical new challenger

Miku joins the coin shop for 40 earned coins, with the supplied artwork shared across her looping portrait and combat. Sound Pulse, Rhythm Rush and Encore Rise use the standard attack rules; the sound pulse travels separately from her body. Some actions reuse the closest supplied poses. Existing fighters and purchases are unchanged; Miku has no transformation.

Giorno transformation removedPreview update · publication requested

Giorno stays in base form

Removed Giorno’s transformation and Transform button. His original supplied artwork, Life Shot, MUDA Barrage, Golden Rising Strike and Legends Road unlock remain unchanged.

Giorno transformationPreview update

Gold Experience Requiem

Giorno can now transform using the bottom golden sprites from the supplied sheet. Clean stance, barrage and sweeping attack poses keep stable feet and crisp pixels. His base artwork, Legends Road claim, damage and controls are unchanged. The sheet has no dedicated walking, blocking or hurt cycles, so those actions reuse its closest supplied poses; Life Shot remains a separate projectile. Full energy activates the form, and Revert or empty energy restores base.

New fight maps

12 maps to choose from

Pick a map from the Map button on character select: Neon City, Sunset Dojo, Hidden Leaf Forest, Volcano Core, Frozen Peak, Grand Line Beach, Desert Ruins, Space Station, Blood Moon, Tournament Arena, Emerald Hill and Thunder Plains. Your choice is remembered on this device. Maps are visual only; in online fights each player sees their own chosen map.

Naruto final secret form

Final secret: Kyuubi Sage Mode

Naruto’s second Transform click now reveals the final supplied Kyuubi Sage artwork, replacing the golden secret form. Clean, native-resolution stance and Rasengan poses share stable body and foot anchors. Four-Tails stays first, and the next click or empty energy returns Naruto to base. The sheet has no dedicated walking, blocking or hurt cycle, so those actions reuse its closest supplied poses. Large tornado and debris artwork does not add new attacks; health, damage and controls are unchanged.

Naruto secret-form artworkPreview update

New secret form, same two clicks

Naruto’s second Transform press now uses the newly supplied golden Naruto sheet, including its stance, movement, Rasengan, barrage and rising-strike poses. Four-Tails remains his first transformation. Native pixels are cleaned and foot-anchored; health, damage, energy and controls are unchanged. Additional projectile-only effects on the sheet do not add new moves.

Naruto secret transformationPreview update

A second transformation for Naruto

Naruto’s first Transform remains Four-Tails. Press Transform again while that form is active to reveal secret Kurama Chakra Mode with the supplied golden Naruto artwork. The next press returns to base; energy still drains and returns him to base when empty. Damage, health and attack controls are unchanged.

New game logoPreview update

A fiery new Ember Clash logo

The game now wears a new fiery "EMBER CLASH" logo in the character-select header, and the browser tab icon was replaced with the matching flame-lettering mark. Gameplay is unchanged.

Sasuke hit-reaction fixPreview update

One clean hit reaction

Sasuke now holds his complete recoil pose when hit, without showing neighboring turn-around poses or partial extra sprites. His supplied artwork, damage and combat timing are unchanged.

Chidori pixel repairPreview update

Sasuke stays whole during Chidori

Restored Sasuke's complete original charging stance. Hand lightning animates separately instead of cutting pixels out of his clothes and body. Both directions keep the same damage, controls and cooldowns.

Chidori alignment fixPreview update

Lightning in Sasuke's hand

Chidori's supplied lightning artwork now sits at Sasuke's forward hand instead of his torso. The body stays anchored through the rush, in either direction; damage, cooldowns and controls are unchanged.

Sasuke animation fixPreview update

Fireball Jutsu, not fireball Sasuke

  • Sasuke stays visible while his separate fireball travels across the arena.
  • Removed a detached-foot jump frame and stray sprite fragments; running uses a quicker cycle and idle poses change more gently.
  • Damage, cooldowns, controls and Susanoo rules remain unchanged.
Sonic animation fixPreview update

Clean kicks, clean movement

  • Sonic Rising Kick: rebuilt the rising attack from isolated original poses, removing neighboring legs and feet.
  • Sonic dash: cleaned spinning attack frames that included shoes from the next row. Damage, controls and move timing remain unchanged.
Fighter display rework

Victory belongs to your fighter

  • K.O. screen: winning fighters now appear with their existing animated artwork, bold victory text, earned coins and Rematch controls. Team results show the winning lineup.
  • Health and Transform bars: circular fighter badges, reworked names, slanted ends and segmented energy tracks.
Combat audio update

Every swing counts

  • Swing sounds: punches and kicks now make a whoosh when thrown, even when they miss. Melee specials use the swing sound; projectile specials keep their shot sound.
  • SFX on/off: combat sound effects have a separate switch beside Music, with your preference remembered on this device.
  • Punch timing: custom fighter attacks animate through windup, impact and recovery in step with combat. Swing sounds start when an attack is accepted; impact sounds play on contact.
  • Laptop punching: both P and J trigger punches.

Known limitation: online guests do not yet hear host-resolved hit, block and K.O. sounds.
